Chicks With Sticks 7 Brew Bears 8
Boy oh Boy were tempers flaring in this hotly contested team. As 6 K's by CWS did not help the matter. Still CWS taking a 2 run lead in the top of the 7th is a tall order to catch even for Da Bears. Well not too tall as the top of the order spanked out a 3B, HR, 2B and another 2B to cap the game. Craziness on the field and the talk started long before the game was over. Check please!
Moe's 10 PFF Red Birds 11
A whole lotta up and down. Moe's and Da Birds went toe to toe all game long. It was anybody's game until Da Birds laid it to rest in the top of the 6th. Coffee to go?
Good As It Gets 8 The Bones 10
Both teams scored in bunches just that The Bones had Bigger bunches 4 compared to three and 5 compared to well.... 5 Don't Matta Y'all Bones Win!
The Generals 14 Jolly Dodgers 10
Let the arguing continue as both teams just seemed to come unglued at the hinges. That and odd plays just left the whole game up in the air. (Note to self get them super restricted balls STAT). Generals were doing the walk-a-thon in bewteen monster hits and monster outs. Jollys Staying in the fray but were two fingers short of a full cup.

Boy was this a snoozer with the exception of a couple huge plays I almost fell asleep during the game
So it was a great start to the 2012 campaign. We got all the games in and it was a huge success. Here are the results of the first days action
Hit & Run 2 Moe's 15
Hit & Run started well but Moe's just started blasting the ball all over the yard. Long story short Moe's looked good.

The Bones needed to eat a few more ribs to get the job done today. Taiwan looked like a team possessed. Clutch hitting all around and fast on the base paths. Can you say SPANKED!

Welcome to the league. Time out you know I take the time to write in the score book who is home who is visitors. so why the hell cant you write the correct team on the correct side of the book people? Next Commissioners rule. I am a member of every team. I can make a legal team so if you have six I would jump in and make a legal team. This is only during the regular season. Tournament you need 8. Anyway what a squeaker GAIG pulled it out in the bottom of the last inning to win. Yes there are funny rules in the DSL.

What a close game. If it were not for quality of the batting by both teams I am not sure who would have won.... Yeah I do. Dodgers.

Da Bears were cruising right along throwing a big donut on the board until The Generals found the mark making it close but this was over in a snooze festival.

Final game of the day. Looks like all the fancy talk is just that talk. But even though this was a six run game It was closer than it looked.... Well maybe not.
Hi Guys. We spent at least 3000 € so far for the League. This includes the field days , the new Nets, some new equipment and a huge shopping trip for the Sodas,food etc.
We always have these costs before the league starts, but the League doesnt have that kind of money so what actually happens is that Sheldon pays it in front.
On the 22 nd of April he kindly reminded all the Coaches that team fees were due that particular week, so far only 2 teams payed. We are a relaxed beer league, true, but that just cant be it. I expect everybody to pay in the next week otherwise it will be no team fees equals you wont play.

Hier we go, the "Creme de la Creme" came last saturday on the field for a last power action and achieve wonders. lots were hanging on
scafolders, roofs & ropes, others were fighting against green monsters and grass hopers to make 
the field look good.
But as always El Papa showed us that you don't get anything if you don't gets your hands dirty.

- Game time is 1 hour with 10 minute last inning window. Games will be 10:30, 11:40, 12:50, 14:00, 15:10, 16:20.
- Both teams with the first game setting up the field must be there at least 30 minutes prior. 10:30.
- Both teams with last game help break down field.
- Modified 5 run rule. You can now score up to 8 runs. Say you scored 4 runs and have runners on 1st & 2nd. Batter hits the ball gets a double scores 2 you just scored 6 runs and switch sides. Keeps the defense playing and not quitting on the play. Last inning unlimited runs
- No Sliding.
